Mark the width of your bricks on the soil and cut
out a trench to lay a base for the bricks to sit on.
Lay landscaping fabric at the bottom of the trench
and up the sides if the walls so no weeds can grow
through.
Fill in the trench with a base of gravel. Level the
gravel off right along the trench and make sure it
is en even depth.
Now you are ready to entail the bricks. I always
think it's best to start from the middle of the border
and work out. Place your first brick and push it down
firmly so it doesn't rock from side to side.
Move in one direction adding more bricks and pushing
them firmly into place. Once you have finished one
side start on the other, starting again from the middle.
